MOLECULAR SPECTROSCOPY
TimeMaster™ LED
Equipped with a computer-controlled scanning emission monochromator for instant wavelength selection and direct time-resolved spectra acquisition, the TM-2000 provides impressive wavelength coverage from 260 nm to 670 nm. The QuadraCentric™ sample compartment comes standard with a 10 x 10 mm cuvette holder. The compartment is roomy and will accept various options such as polarizers, solid or powdered sample holders, and other accessories. The TM-2000 is suitable for virtually all fluorescence lifetime applications.

TimeMaster™ 50 comes with FelixGX software for instrumental control and includes new PowerFit-10 analytical software for fluorescence and phosphorescence lifetime analysis.
Through the new, powerful ASOC-10 USB interface FelixGX provides a full set of data acquisition protocols and controls the hardware for all system configurations and operating modes.
FelixGX Controls
- Trigger and rep rate of pulsed laser
- Timing of digital detector delay gate
- Monochromator (optional)
- Motorized slits (optional)
FelixGX Acquisition Modes
FelixGX also provides several acquisition modes for fluorescence decay measurements:
- Fluorescence Decay with user controlled laser reprate, number of pulses averaged per point and user selectable linear, arithmetic or logarithmic timescale
- Time-Resolved Emission scan (if optional emission monochromator is present) with user control of laser reprate, time delay of detector gate, number of pulses averaged per wavelength and scan step size
- Timebased scan with user control of laser reprate, time delay of detector gate, total time window and number of pulses averaged per point
PowerFit-10 Analytical Software
PowerFit-10 software (incorporated into FelixGX) provides powerful analytical package for decay data analysis. All modules include reconvolution algorithms, selection of data weighing (Poisson or analog), shift and offset parameters, statistical goodness-of-fit parameters (Chi-square, Durbin-Watson, Runs test, residuals and autocorrelation), as well as standard deviations of fit parameters.
PowerFit-10 Modules
- Multi-exponential (1 to 4 lifetimes) decay
- Multi-file multi-exponential (1 to 4 lifetimes)
- Global (1 to 4 lifetimes) analysis
- Anisotropy decay (free rotor, restricted rotor and other models)
- Stretched exponential
- Micelle quenching kinetics (Infelta-Groetzel-Tachiya model)
- Exponential Series Method (ESM) unconstrained lifetime distribution analysis (up to 200 exp terms)
- Maximum Entropy Method (MEM) lifetime distribution analysis (up to 200 exp terms)
- Time-Resolved Spectra (TRES)
- Decay Associated Spectra (DAS)

A: QBBr-labeled cell in standard Ringer’s solution; B: same cell, but with 160 mM NaI substituted for NaCl in Ringer’s solution (note quenching by I- ions); C: same cell back to standard Ringer’s solution (note the recovery of fluorescence lifetime).
